HIMSS 2019 & Telehealth

The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) is all set for its 2019 conference to be held in February at the Orange county convention centre Orlando, Florida.

Faichi Solutions (a Saksoft company) has been a regular at all HIMSS conferences in the past, and we are psyched to meet the digital health community. Here is a glimpse of what to expect from the event.

HIMSS 2019 will explore many aspects of technology in healthcare, such as the role of Cybersecurity, Privacy & Security, Health Information Exchange, Interoperability, Data Integration and standards, Population health management & Public health, Telehealth, and many more interesting topics.

Telehealth

The main objective of telehealth software solutions is to leverage telecommunications technologies to make health and information services more convenient, simple and efficient. Thereby increasing the quality of patient care and improving patient engagement drastically. Telehealth tools can be an incredibly powerful way of making healthcare and health education more accessible – especially to remote parts of  U.S. and the world.

Telehealth solutions come in all shapes and sizes. Telehealth applications allow healthcare professionals to deliver health services, education or training, and health information remotely, using telecommunications technology. Unlike telemedicine solutions, which focus specifically on clinical services, telehealth solutions cover broader range of health services. Health professionals might use a telehealth solution to train healthcare staff, engage and educate patients about a preventative health topic online, or remotely monitor a patient’s recovery after hospital discharge.

There is an amazing session at HIMSS19 on telehealth and you shouldn’t miss it!Details about the session

Telehealth & Remote Patient Care Applications

Telehealth technologies have proven their effectiveness in chronic disease management like diabetes, hypertension, respiratory conditions, and many more. Telehealth (Remote Patient Consultation and Remote Patient Monitoring) has emerged as an important part of healthcare. It enables patients to access physicians almost 24x7 from any remote location with a provision to share vital information. It reduces the probability of a patient being admitted / re-admitted to the hospital and ensures quality care continuum.

At Faichi we have expertise in developing HIPAA compliant Remote Care/Telehealth solutions. We empower providers to perform remote consultations, monitoring, and follow-ups. To maximize the potential of telehealth solutions, we assist in:

•    Design & architect systems by integrating with video conferencing tools

•    Designing telehealth systems from end-users' perspective - UX driven

•    Securing messaging across devices and address compliance

•    Integrating with EHR / EMR systems

Our customers have benefited from our Telehealth Solutions and achieved the following benefits:

•    Effective patient monitoring in CCM & LTD

•    Effective patient scheduling

•    Effective drug prescriptions and telemedicine

•    Easy patient billing

We would be happy to connect during the event to discuss more about remote care, analytics, futuristic apps and a modern approach to connected care! Drop a word at sales@faichi.com.
